Security Question of the camera?

Last year I had problems with someone smashing my Christmas decorations. I bought a wireless camera and receiver in the garden security lights front and a motion sensor. Also I have an ATI TV tuner card with RCA video / audio – input. The receiver can be connected to input A / V and can record video on the hard disk. I do not want to leave this 24 / 7 and hours of review of the film. Instead, I would like to register my HD is activated only when motion detectors, then continue to register for 5 or 10 minutes and off. What additional hardware and / or software do I need to get there? Thanks, Joe
